Terms of use
Last updated October 11, 2026.
These terms describe use of Nuvex’s MacRouter website and app features. Contact eduardo@nuvex.tech with questions.
App license and distribution
The app is currently available to invited beta testers. A public Mac App Store release is being prepared. Use the license terms presented with your download. For App Store distribution, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies when no custom app license is supplied.
Use accounts and profiles you are allowed to access
Use MacRouter only with Macs, accounts, profiles and files you own or have permission to use. Routing opens a URL in a chosen destination; it does not grant access to a file, bypass an organization’s controls or change the website’s permissions. Review a remembered destination before using it for sensitive links.
Profile launcher and third-party services
Browser profile routing may require a script you install and select yourself. Review its contents before enabling it. The launcher runs with your macOS user’s privileges and receives the routed URL and destination details. Browsers, Google services and websites are provided by their respective operators and are subject to their own terms and policies.
Availability and recovery
Features depend on macOS and browser behavior, the permissions you grant and third-party service availability. Beta features can change. Keep a copy of settings you want to preserve. You can change the default browser in macOS System Settings at any time; the support page explains recovery.
Privacy and support
Google sign-in is optional. Read the privacy policy before connecting an account or selecting a launcher. Support can help troubleshoot app behavior, but cannot grant access to a Google file or change your organization’s policies.
Updates
We will publish changes to these terms here and update their date. Your applicable statutory rights are unaffected.
